Finally, some progress in the garden

We always grow grafted tomatoes because our season is so short (even when we aren’t severely delayed by looking after a baby) that they need all the help they can get if they’re to produce anything before the winter sets in. These arrived last week and went into the greenhouse at the weekend.

We’re being bold this year and trying our hand at an aubergine as well. Also grafted.

We’ve sown broccoli, Brussels sprouts, courgettes, broad beans, and purple French beans.

Now we just need to dig over the vegetable patch so we have somewhere to put them!
