Faith’s left hip socket is slightly too shallow. If this isn’t fixed now, she could end up walking with a limp and/or having risky surgery later on. So she has to wear a Pavlik harness for the next 8–12 weeks. She hates it! Aside from the nuisance it makes of nappy and clothes changes (which she didn’t like to begin with; now they take three times as long), she really doesn’t like the harness itself. She doesn’t know it’s for her own good. All she knows is that she can’t move her legs fully, and so there must be something wrong. And she lets us know!
