Have made a large quantity of bread and butter pudding with brown seeded bread, which works really well – the seeds add a little tasty crunch to it. So that’s used up one loaf of the bread, four pints of the milk, and six of the eggs. Only eleven pints of milk, two loaves of bread, and nine eggs to go. That’s of the leftovers we took home. Other people took a lot more than us.
The other two loaves of bread have gone in the freezer. I’ll make rice pudding tomorrow.
