Zoe and the toys

What is this thing and why are you waving it in my face? (Hand knitted jumper courtesy of Lis Burke.)
In the last couple of weeks, Zoe has started taking an interest in toys. She likes things that rattle and have bright colours (fairly typical).
She waves her hands at them when they appear above or in front of her and tries to touch them. It’s obvious she’s trying to figure out how to make her hands do what she wants them to!
She’s also quite taken with the dragon on our mantelpiece that was the cake topper at our wedding (Welsh coal, painted by Tiiu Miller). I think it’s part of an ongoing fascination with the colour red.
She’s been quite tired lately: a snotty nose has kept her up at night and she’s not been good at napping during the day.
Today she had her second set of immunisations, following which she napped for two hours, and was much happier afterwards.
She now weighs 5.2kg and is around 64cm long. We are breaking out the 3–6 month clothes.
